Is there a certain type of calculator required for the Math 20 assessment? TI 83? TI 30? other model?
ReplyDeleteShould the school purchase rulers ( or calculators) to guarantee one is available for each student? If so ... who pays? If not, how do we ensure everyone has the required materials? What do we do if they don't?
Do the tests have to be written in HB pencil or will any writing implement be allowed?
Kim Crawford Lumsden High School
The teacher handbook does not identify a specific type of calculator for Math 20.
ReplyDeleteMost schools ask students to supply the required materials and teachers gather a few extra for students that can not supply their own. There are no funds to purchase materials needed for the assessment.
Assessments should be completed in pencil.
