ReplyDeleteCan our SSS teachers administer the assessment to students who possess diverse needs?
ReplyDeleteAre you asking if the SSS teacher can read the assessment to students who possess diverse needs? You may not read the assessment to contributing students, however if you have identified this students as a non-contributing student then their assessment would not be returned to the ministry and would not be included in your school's data.
ReplyDeleteCan I give the "Grade 7 Sample Student Booklet" as a warm-up activity to my students, before the actual assessment? (Or is this the actual assessment they will be completing?)
ReplyDeleteThe Grade 7 Sample booklet is designed to provide you with a pre-assessment activity to ensure that your students are comfortable with the assessment format and have had an opportunity to experience both selected and constructed response assessment items. Feel free to use it prior to administering the 2009 AFL Reading Assessment.
